Inderal and Maxalt

Has anyone combined these two drugs? My doctor (just a GP) prescribed these two and I noticed on the Maxalt that it says you should not take more than 5mgs of Maxalt if you are on Inderal. Of course, my doctor prescribed 10mg and I had to switch them for 5mg. I am trying to get a new doctor to prescribe Verapramil instead of Inderal but wondered if anyone has used these at the same time.

Also, I have always used Imitrex injections, does Maxalt even work? Thanks!
