Well damn, that did burst my bubble!! To be honest I wasn't looking forward to him quitting because he's pretty much an ass for awhile when he's trying to quit! But the doctor really has him believing that if he quits they may never come back! CRAP! This guy was supposed to be a headache specialist at the local headache and pain center too! I'm so glad you guys informed me more - this is where we found the imitrex info in the first place and showed it to the doctor and he said that it does something with your blood vessels and if you're a smoker it would be restricting them too much and could cause a stroke or something!! Well I'll show this to Cliff so he can go back and tell the doc to prescribe it anyway! Yeah he's been trying the topomax as a preventative - the lidocaine treatments didn't work and neither did the prednosone or however you spell it. I DID look at that alternative site - thank you- he will be pleased about that actually, he's a believer in shrooms but has not used in many many years - only for lack of finding...but there's some good info on that site, thanks again. We'll keep trying, by the time we figure something out that helps the cycle will end and we won't know if it was because of that or because of the randomness of this. Thanks again!
