Yeah, My speech also gets effected the higher up the scale. But, I can usually still dictate the "do this" and "don't do that's" that have kind of been embedded in my brain over the years.
Like if I've buried my head to tight against a wall or floor and need meds, I can still say, "Grab my hair and yank me away, you're not gonna hurt me!" heh heh.
I guess my solution is to keep my phone on the floor with 911 on speed dial, and if it really becomes an emergency, hope I can see and work it.
