The poem you posted below you used words from a poem I wrote in 1996. It's posted on the mgh poety page.
Some of it is word for word!!!!!! Is that where you got some of your poem.??? That's stealing and makes me really mad!!
Sure is strange that you would use the same words...word for word??
Sorry folks...but I just couldn't believe it when I saw his poem that had word for word what I wrote, and is posted on mgh. I don't want to start a fight or call anybody names...but this just blew my mind!!!!
FACE PAIN POEM
THE LIFE ZAPPING PAIN
Out of the darkness of the night,
agonizing pain to give me a fight.
Please, O Lord, take some of this pain;
for I don't know how long I can remain?
As the tears stream down my face,
O how the minutes go...a slow pace.
I am determined to remain strong.
But I sure wish IT was gone!
IT is an hour an forty-five
and I wish I wasn't alive.
The muscle so swollen, cramped and tight.
For it alone takes all my might!
Don't react...don't react to the pain...
cause I might lose what I have gained!
Don't think about another one,
for TOMORROW IT will come...
My Soul aches in distress,
Will I love my life less and less?
When the grip of the muscle lets up...and I
give a big SIGH;
I'm grateful, but still don’t know , “WHY?"
IT'S over... IT'S over... for this time again,
and now I can go on with a little more grin,
for Me and the Lord...We made it again!!
