There is no relation to food as any kind of trigger, tell your Mom to give it up.The only real trigger is alchohol, only when in cycle, I can drink anything without any ill effect when I am not in cycle. I just totally obstain until the damn cycle is over. Sure look forward to that first Mich Light! Anyway, your eye may not look red or droopy, mine only do about a third of the time. I sleep after the beast has left, from sheer exhaustion. do your headaches ever wake you from a sound sleep? That is my first sign of being in cycle. Who says CH'ers are over 20, sounds like there is a 4 year old whose Mom is on this board. The beast know no age or sex! Also, try vigorous exercise when you feel it coming on. Go out and run a mile or ride your bike hard. See what happens, if it knocks the beast down a few pegs, you are a clusterhead. Good luck. I have suffered for over 17 years. Any questions, please ask. Also, I used to use heat, hot showers, etc. Now I use Ice Packs. It really works better, from back of the neck to temple to jaw bone and around. Try it next time. Sitting still in a tub would not be possible for me, but a whirlpool tub may be great! get the blood moving, that is the answer to relief. Open up those vessels.

Good luck
