A reminder that Peter Goadsby is extremely keen to get videos of some attacks to show to doctors. The effect on them is apparently startling, and more effective than anything else in convincing them of what we go through.
The last time I asked about this I had precisely two replies! He was, to say the least, disappointed. There must be moe than two of us out there with video equipment who go through attacks anyway - surely someone else must be able to help with this important request. (I always say, think how you would have reacted if someone had described ch to you before you encountered it yourself - would you have believed what we go through?)
A further note - a friend of mine whose son has epilepsy was told that it was a sleep disorder. Knowing this wasn't the case she videoed a night when he had over 70 petits mals. When she took the vidoe with her, it was finally announced - "oh yes, he has epilepsy". Evidence is often what is needed.
