I would like to say I am not sure how this convention is going to turn out. You never know till it is over. I have someone that will be at the convention to speak on suicide, from the local hospital. There have been several news releases that have been sent out to radio, TV stations, and newspapers. Doctors have been invited but at no avail. I spoke with someone from the makers of Imitrex , they sent me out some pamphlets but couldn’t get anyone to come speak. They were going to try to get us a speaker but never called back and when I called them back they never returned my calls.
From what I can tell form different people there will be some O.U.C.H. discussion. There will be several topic about clusters talked about chose by people attending. The conventions will hopefully have a lot to offer in information on OUCH , Clusters , How to help people who are at the end of their rope. Clusterheads will met other clusterheads face to face. Supporters will met other supporters. People who have clusters will finally be in their supporter’s shoes. With fifty clusterheads there I am sure they will see someone be hit by the demon. Seeing a smile leave someone’s face and the look in their eye you won’t have to ask you will know and as they leave the room you will fight the earge to go after them and offer them help. You heart will fall to your stomach, and you may even get a lump in your throat, cause you can almost feel at that moment what they are feeling. When they return and you look again in their eyes you will be happy for them its over. Only then will you really know what your supporters are going through. For the clusterheads that go that don’t have supporters and don’t know what is like to have one. When you leave you will know you have supporters. I have met a many of clusterheads and have learned something new from each one of them. I hope the convention to be fun and educational.
I want to take the time to thank all that have helped me put this together and I hope I did not miss anyone if I did please let me know, cause I want everyone to know who all has helped put this together.
