That may help to explain eposodic chs, but what to chornic as myself? Additionally, I know my viens usely dialate prior to the pain, but dialation does not always result in pain, just an early warning signal. Pain does however preceed other symtoms e.g. tearing, sweating, etc. Please take into consideration that the last few years the ch comes (blessedly) at night and awakens me, therefore I am not as aware of the subleties prior to onset.
Anyway, I think the best possible thing we could do is to get this problem noticed by the media. I've been sucessful in keeping my problem fairly well hidden for 25-30 years. There must be some Hollywood types with this disorder that could bring attention to this. Is any one of us schooled enough to shop an article to the mags? Typing as I'm thinking, not usealy a good idea, but, I'd be willing to draft a mag article, if someone out there was capable of getting it published in a major mag. With publicity, comes caring, comes money, comes research, comes cure? Let me know if you think we should take some serious steps into helping each other.
