This is kinda in response to Kevin's response to my
earlier post....
I started allergy shots and then had to quit--the
drs. could not keep me at maintance level. As soon
as they would get me past the baby doses I would
have excruciating headaches after taking the shots.
There was one point where I was driving home
from their office and almost turned around to go
to the ER because my head was hurting so bad.
If anyone here is planning on taking allergy shots
or have just started, be careful with them! They
were definitely major triggers for my clusters as
well as very, very painful sinus headaches that would
take days to get rid of. My dr. now wants me to go
back on them--he says I should take pain killers before
going (about an hour). I haven't built up the nerve
to go back yet!
