Have found that drug usage tends to spend endorphin system, leading to more intolerance to pain and stress. I tend to learn to cope using the lowest usage levels needed to maintain normal functioning, admitting to myself, there is no cure so live as well as possible in spite of. Coping strategies turn out to be what works best for you.
