I'm a new sufferer and as you can imagine it was a story out of Reader's Digest horror section before I was properly diagnosed and treated It took 3 neurologists and a trip across the country to the Johns Hopkins Medical Group before I had any idea what I had and that in fact it was not an emotional disorder. I have had my computer configured to Telnet so as to be able to access medical info. I read about oxygen and the new trials concerning the relief of cluster headaches. The results have so far been outstanding. Getting a doctor to prescribe an oxygen tank is another matter. I went to my local Health Food Store and found a product in a bottle called stabilized oxygen. It is virtually tasteless and it is put into an 8oz glass of water and then you drink it down. I started it 5 days before the date I had picked to try to go off medication. What can I say, it's a miracle. My daughter gets stress and menstrual cycle headaches and she gave it a try and viola! It does not touch her cramps but at least the headache is gone. I'm just putting this out there for whomever is interested. I hope, if it works for me, it will benifit others.
