Had the trip to neuro yesterday, spent an entire hour with him and poured our souls out, (no the beast did not leave), and the results were IV steroids for three days, every 6 hours and Tylox 4x a day need it or not for 5 days. Took away everything else accept lithium, and topamax which he increased to 200mg 2x day. It is funny how empty the daily pill container was looking this morning. Had one ha during night that lasted about 30min and o2 did help. Had one this morning also, but was trying to build up to the roar, but could only purr. Hubby wants to say discouraged, think he wanted it just to all end after the first IV treatment, but that is not a reality. Will keep encouraging him to be patient, after all, Rome took a while too. At least today does not look as bleak as yesterday, and even if tomorrow should not be as bright we will at least have gathered some strength from today and all the caring people we are among.
