I've probably had CH earlier than age 7, but can remember being taken to a neurologist when I was a youngster. Back then they didn't have much in the way of diagnostic tools except skull x-rays. The only thing that is somewhat enigmatic is that you're daughters headaches can occur on either side. The other symptoms you describe, however, all seem to fit some form of CH. I didn't receive proper diagnosis until 16 years ago. I'm 55 now, and can really empathise with you as a care giver. Your daughter's plight is certainly unfortunate - but wanted you to know our prayers are with you. As you can see from reading the board every case is somewhat different. So far, there is no magic bullet. My only advice is to make sure you're really comfortable with your doctor(s). It took me years to find one with whom I had a good connection, and could count on as a listener, as well as one who wrote prescriptions. He listens to my theories, checks out references on things I bring to him, and gives me his 'personal' opinion regarding my own desires. I, and I'm sure the rest of the readers, wish you well. We're always here to listen...and, for what it worth, willing to put in our five cents as well. Hugs...
