I have suffered from cluster headaches for 7 years now. I am a 39 year old W/M that lives in East Texas.
I do not consider myself to be a "cronic" due to my "season" usually lasts from late Jan. to Mid-March,
however, this year and the last it has extended...this year till June so far.
What I am about to tell is strickly up to you to try or not try, I asume no responsibility, It's just what works for me. Normally I can stop a monster in less that 30 minutes.
My headaches usually wake me up a couple of hours after going to bed. (appx 2-3 hours)
When this happens I immediately drink as many cups of strong, hot, black coffee as needed.(3 is my normal) and combine this with as many cigarettes back to back as I can handle until the pain eases. (3-4)
It stops mine, they go away.
I am not sure why this combination works (chemicals)
it just does. For coffee I use the big red can and for smokes...Red 100's. Use at your own discretion.
Hope this helps,
SG
