I just checked an entry I remembered in the Guest Book from a woman whose brother suffered from CH and eventually committed suicide. This condition itself does not kill but it greatly impacts the person's quality of life! Quite of few entries in the Guest Book have brought tears to my eyes but this one really hit home. I know that there are other conditions and diseases that seem to be worse that CH but for those of us who have suffered episodes for years know that those time periods are like black holes-I can't even imagine what chronic sufferers go through.
I guess in my long winded way I am saying that yes we are a small group of people but these things do greatly affect our lives and the lives of those around us. I believe that DJ's work on this site has gotten many of us aware that there are others and that we can help each other. It sure would be nice, though, if others understood and even better if there could be better research and treatment options!
So go for Dateline, 20/20, Oprah, whoever!
