Chamb,
I was going to let your post go without comment, but it requires some rebuttal. To begin with the “Wealthy Government” is in debt to the tune of $5,656,181,958,605.26. To be clear, I am not opposed to a person with cluster getting SSDI. If you are disabled for over a year you are entitled to those benefits. Unfortunately, most deserving people happen not to receive this assistance.
Let us move on to your cause. The fact that you are involved in the Tibetan Youth Congress is your choice and probably a most worthy cause.
Here is a statement of yours that I take exception with:
(“These people in Chinese prisons are suffering physically and mentally as much if not much more than us, but it's due to ignorance not clinical physiological issues.”)
I don’t know what yardstick anyone can use to determine more or less suffering. But, I can tell you there are a lot of people suffering from clusters through ignorance. When this disease is not diagnosed correctly that person suffers both physically and physiologically. This site was created to combat that ignorance.
If you believe we can’t do anything to fight this disease, you Sir are mistaken. We might not have the answer today, but we will prevail. If we can save one person from needless suffering, we have attained some measure of success.
I regret that any people around the globe must endure pain and hardship, but that is life. Best of luck to you in India and I hope you find the success you seek.
