Sounds like you are getting the old NHS run around I am afraid.
You need a good preventative like Jonny has said. Probably Verapamil is your best bet, also you must ask your GP for Imigran Jabs !!
He may not want to prescribe them to you because of the cost, but be very firm with him, they work wonders. Also you can try the 02 therapy.
