THE NOBLE NATURE BY BEN JOHNSON
Book of Virtues
(If we devote care to details, our work will shine in small bits and pieces - and our characters will improve degree by degree.)
It is not growing like a tree
In bulk, doth make man better be;
Or standing long an oak, three hundred year,
To fall a log at last, dry, bald, and sear:
A lily of a day
Is fairer far in May,
Although it fall and die that night -
It was the plant and flower of Light.
In small proportions we just beauties see,
And in short measures life may perfect be.
Been a long day trying to keep two girls happy when their older sisters are gone. I'm thinkin' it's gonna be an early night.
DJ, I am glad you are feeling better. Jonny, glad to see you have the kinks out of your computer. Dawn, will be thinking of you tomorrow with the MRI testing. From this "annointed nun" I bless you and pray your night will be well. - Sister Rachel (smile)
