Since you are posting here I assume you think she is suffering from cluster headaches as opposed to migraines. If you poke around this and other headache sites you'll find complete descriptions of the sypmtoms and the accompanying remedies. The first thing I'd look into if I were you is Imitrex, Maxalt, Zomig or Migranol for immediate pain relief. Migranol and other ergot derivatives must be taken immediately upon onset to be effective. I believe Imitrex works for both migraine and cluster headaches.
