Why anyone with CH would want to turn the one place we can get information, or support (for those looking for that too) from someone who really knows what we go through, into a free-for-all of any pain is beyond me. Personally, when I'm seeking out information here I don't want to wade through piles of literature on migraines, tension headaches, gum disease, chemical-sensitivity disorders, head-conking klutz disorders, eye strain and arrow-through-the-head pain to find something on CHs. I've got broken vertebrae with spine slippage, which also is painful (though, more like a tickle compared to CH). So why not include spondolothesis here too? Since this is the only place to go to get information on CH without finding one article for every hour of looking I really don't get the attitude of wanting to change it. Many of us wouldn't be here or have stayed if it was open for everything because we'd feel like we'd be wasting too much time sorting through non-CH-related things. And if that happened, much of the info on our condition couldn't be gleaned here.
Does that mean that my attitude is one of eliteness for having clusters? No. It means I don't want to read a bunch of articles that to me would be a bunch of bullshit. Just like I'm sure you don't want to read through a bunch of info on spondo to find help with migraines or CH.
Does that mean I think people with migraines are scum? No. Far from it. All it means is that this is the one sanctuary we have. Why would we want to open it up so we can be pushed out and have nowhere to go? Like I said, there are plenty of sites out there to go to if one wants all headache types included.
OK. One more cup of coffee for me today and that's it.
