I remember the first time I came to this message board, I was newly diagnosed with Clusters, that had been going on for weeks. I was so sick and tired of talking with my family and friends and having them say that they knew "exactly what I was going through". Unless you have experienced
it, you don't have a clue. I remember how I could not wait to read post after post on the CH message board, becuase finally someone DID know what I was going through. Someone DID know the pain, someone DID know what it is like to bang your head on the headboard of the bed, or the wall,to pace back and forth, and to try anything and everything just to get through it. I found this site as an outlet to vent the frustrations I was feeling, and also for reassurance. When the clusters finally stopped after 7 weeks, I turned to my friends on the CH board for what I thought was a legitimate question. I never dreamed it would create the controversy that it has. I would like to thank everyone that has e-mailed me, or made contact in other ways to offer their support, and advice. Believe me, I only wanted advice from experienced CH suffer's.
I hope soon our message board will be back to normal, a group of people unfortunately tied by
Clusterheadaches, but fortunately drawn together-
to be there to listen, laugh, and learn more about
this terrible thing - Clusterheadaches - that we have in common.
