John,
observations:
why would smoking cause CH on only 1 side?
some CHeads never smoked.
some CHeads have quit for long periods and are still CHeads.
what's going on during remission for episodic CHeads who smoke?
i apply this logic to all proposed causes ("triggers") and solutions.
alcohol, msg, sleeping, stress ...
verapamil, exercise, meditation, imitrex ...
all "whole body" effectors. but still CH on 1 side.
this is the key. this is the crucial question - there MUST be a physical deformity/aberration/difference on the CH side that is not on the painless side and not on the CH side during remission.
trigger is a good metaphor. it's not the trigger that invades - it's the BULLET that the trigger affects that invades with pain.
we MUST find the bullet.
i believe you believe. that is clear. that it works for you is also clear. i appreciate that.
it's not enough for me.
there's a cause. it's physical. it's a difference between sides and during remission.
when we find that BULLET - we'll cure EVERYONE. no meds. no lifestyle changes. a physical fix. a universal fix.
my thots, such as they are. no disrespect intended. all input is welcome.
