It is a very interesting molecule. It is an indole-based hallucinogen, so there is a good possibility that it would have the same beneficial effects on CH as psilocybin or LSD do.

It is classified by the DEA as a Schedule 1 controlled substance, so it is no more legal in the United States than psilocybin or LSD.

It is extremely difficult to synthesize... virtually impossible, in fact, to synthesize any appreciable amount, therefore it must be extracted and purified from the plant root itself, which is native to West Africa.

There is no black market availability, and no way to produce your own without making a trip to Gabon and collecting some Tabernanthe iboga roots and extracting the alkaloid yourself.

Short of enrolling yourself in one of the few drug-recovery programs for heroin and cocaine addiction that have used Ibogaine in pilot projects in the past, I see no practical way to obtain any of this drug to experiment with.
