Jackie...I have to tell you that your message really struck me. I know the aniexty. I asked my doctor flat out...are you sure there is no tummor or anything in my head. sometimes it feels like something is trying to hatch out of my head, other times it feels like my skull is caving in.
You have been dealing with this cycle for a long time. my cycle started in Jan this year and hasn't ended. I started as a easy-going happy person but sometimes i also think i can not take another day of it. My dr has me on Prozac, he thought it might help with the headaches but now i keep taking it to help keep my spirits up. maybe you can try something similar.
maybe you can try to talk yourself thru the anxiety, if you've had a MRI or MRA you know there is no blockage. i believe the verapamil is helping to lower the severity of my pain. if you are taking this, maybe you need to have your dr increase the dose.
i don't know if any of this will help you but please know that you struck a cord with me...i understand the feelings and thoughts you spoke about. i have yet to hear from someone who says their cycle never stopped...so ours has to stop.
i'll say a pray for you and hope you find the strength to keep fighting.
