I was beginning to think that I was the only one who
feels that rush. After about seven hours or so of wrest-
ling with The Demon, the endorphins hit me so pleasantly
that I'll just nod off, like a junkie after a hit of some
dynamite shit.
Is this phenomenon really so rare? Are there only one
or two of who are lucky enough to have the demon pay us
a little something for our trouble? My doctor claims to
have had a patient who got off on the endorphin rush to
the extent that he didn't want any pain relief, if you can
believe that! He just wanted to be sure that he didn't
have a brain tumor or something else that might kill him.
Oh, well. Different stroke for different folks.
