I found a book that referenced the NE Center for Headaches, located in Conn.
I was wondering if anyone had been to a headache treatment center and if it was helpful? I'm afraid they may know how to help migraines and just have standard info for clusters.
I am a 30 yr old female in R.I. and I have had these headaches everyday, 2-5 per day since January of this year. They just won't stop.
I am under the care of a neurologist, and the meds he has me on are helping, the pain is not as severe as it had been, but the CH just keep on coming. I had an attack in his office 2 weeks ago, the look on his face was something. Just stunded and sympathetic. guess he hadn't seen it before....and it was only a bad-10 minute CH. (I call the real winners "Severe")
I'm not sure what a clinic could do for me...I am already on O2 and the normal meds.
I guess I'm afraid to get my hopes up but I also wouldn't want to not take advantage of any info or help they could provide or the chance they could make the CH stop.
thank you to all...your information and stories help to make me feel not so alone in this.
