71% of those surveyed began CH before the age of 30.
However, a majority of those are now over 30-40.
I personally believe that web based surveys are not entirely accurate. A CH survey (age at onset, sex, etc.) would be much more accurate if it were conducted in Dr.'s offices. I think a certain demographic are computer users or posters to message boards and that demographic is different than those truely suffering CH and seeking medical assistance.
I started at age 19 and was always under the impression that CH was mainly a disease of males which struck in the teens or early 20's.
