I am female and had my fist CHs 12 years ago when I was 30. They came after I had a laporoscopy (day surgery) and didn't know what the headaches were. Went to the emergency room twice with them, but by the time we got there, the headache was gone. They did not last very long back then. The people in the hospital didn't know a thing. Just gave me 800 mg. Motrin. Guess what? It didn't work.
By the way----get a new dr. You need someone who will listen to you, support you and be knowledgable about CHs.
