Nadine, Just curious--is Ken taking an extended release form of Verapamil? Because, I thought Verapamil was usually 80 mg. tabs, or multiples thereof. The only thing I found in 100 mg. form is the ER. Did the doc or pharmacist give you instructions on taking it--time of day, etc.? 3 days is pretty quick for the Verapamil to become effective. It usually takes a couple of weeks to start being effective..so don't become discouraged if Ken's attacks do continue for awhile--it may have to be increased until the right dosage is found. Good luck!
