We've got a lot to do but things are happening. People are working, mainly behind the scenes and unsung so let me hum a few bars for ya all.
The Liaison Committee, under the leadership of Steve VanRees, is working on many fronts. They are collecting information and resources dealing with Children with CH, Insurance Companies, Disability, Employers, Cluster Headache Awareness Week, Doctors, Clinical Studies/Research, Headache Clinics and web sites, and coping with CH pain and suffering. They will be collecting information for 2 more months and then will move on to selecting the most usefull info from this and eventually will be added to the OUCH web site.
The CH Doctors page on the OUCH is starting to get a decent database of CH informed doctors for sufferers to choose from.
Bennie Sue did a wonderful job of getting the OUCH and CH.com site linked on many other headache sites. This really helps get the word of our existance out in the public.
Donna Harlacz put out a lot of info in just about every place you could think of during preparations for Cluster Headache Awareness Week last year.
There's a lot going on and a lot will be realized during this year.
Like you, I just wish I had the energy to part of it all. I'm just thankful that we have all these enrgetic people willing to help.
