My husband just got out of his remission of 4 years from clusters.
Now their up to 3 a day. More to come I'm sure.
Anyway, I was wondering about the oxygen. Does it really work that good? He's never tried it but I got the doc to order it and going to try to get him talked into it.
He's got the Imitrex Nose Spray for now and it worked but the prescription doesn't allow for very many and I think he's trying to hold onto them for the biggies.
He also has 2 of the injection thingy's but hasn't tried one yet.
His headaches have just been back for 2 weeks and are starting to really take hold.
Last time he was having bouts, he took Sansert, Elavil, Wigraine and 1 cafergot suppository that landed his but in ER. Too much ergotamine for his system. The wigraines worked but ONLY if he took it a the "right" time. The Sansert and Elavil messed with his mind toooooooo much.
So, now were looking for alternatives and waiting to get into a neuro. PCP ain't worth diddley on CH. His old neuro retired last year (suprise-suprise!)
So he's kinda stuck.
Found this web-site and was tickled to death to know I have a place to go where people don't think he's just haveing a migraine and excedrine will help. Or maybe infected sinuses. People just don't have a clue and after a while, I just quit trying to explain.
Husband, BTW, hates computers. I do his dirty work.

I'm looking through several posts here and see it mentioned a lot.
Just wanted some personal input is all.
And to familiarize myself with everything.
Gonna be a long haul this time.
He got used to NOT having CH, so now .......
