Lights & Sounds bother me, but only because they distract me... for that matter, I close my eyes when I'm in battle, because any visual stimulation distracts me. It seems the more I can concentrate on the pain, the better I can manage it. I have often wondered if these outside stimuli & the distractions they cause are the same thing as the "phobias" mentioned in the article? ...or are they confusing one for the other. nah, that couldn't be... after all, they are DOCTORS!
