Seriously, I know what you're trying to say.

Basically, my cycles (before Verapamil) have been 6 to 8 weeks long, gradually increasing over the years.

Since I don't want to be on Verapamil off-cycle when I don't really need to be taking it, I stop taking it when the cycle would normally have completed on its own. It's worked so far.

I admit, this has the drawback of having to go through the beginning of the next cycle and having to wait until the Verapamil kicks in. In my case, Verapamil doesn't kick in until 2 weeks, so I use Imitrex nasal spray to deal with that.

It's not a totally pain-free method, but I'll take my current situation over the years and years I dealt with full-blown CH without stuff like Verapamil and Imitrex.
