Hi everyone hope you all are pain free today. Well I got my answer at work last night. If you will remember my neuro had suggested putting me on day shift to see if it would cut down on the frequency of my c/hs. I talked to the super at work last week and gave him the letter from my doc. I got my answer last night. He said that they want to keep people on shifts based on senority, which I understand, but when I mentioned going on the maint. team which isn't senority driven he said they didn't want to disrupt that team right now. So I says to him "well then I guess your telling me I'm just going to have to deal with this right, and he said thats right,"we don't know that much about cluster headaches", and I said to him thats the problem there is not enough awareness about this terrible disorder and nobody knows what it's like until it strikes them or someone they know. I could go on about some other things that were said but I won't bore you guys any longer. Just needed to vent. If there is anyone on the board who knows the law on the americans with disabilities act and what my options might be please let me know.
