Just wanted to give ya'll an update on the "Viva Las Vegas" post that I put up the other day.
I was able to get a couple more Imitrex injections on Sunday, plus a prescription for Prednisone. It looks like the Prednisone has "shocked" the Cluster so far because I haven't had a headache since I started taking them on Sunday afternoon (knocking really hard on the desk).
I started with 60mg and am taking 5mg less each day until I run out. Hopefully, it will work. In past Clusters, the H/A's came back as the Prednisone dosage continued to decrease. Hopefully that won't happen this time.
I'm VERY interested in the information that Dan'l and Jim have put up here about the Diflucan and I'm probably going to tell my generic/general physicians when I get back home that I want to try it. The way I figure it, why not!!!??? It can't hurt! I mean geez, if it doesn't work, I'll always be able to look back and giggle about the time that I took yeast infection medication in the same light that I have looking back on all the PMS medicine that I've taken over the years to try and abort Clusters! hahahah
