Hi Brandon - it has been my experience, both in
personal use and relevant literature, that effective
flow rates begin at 8 litres/minute. I've always
been sure to inform those who supply my O2 that I
require a regulator that can deliver O2 at 10 lpm.

This time around, the regulator uses a rotating
dial that clicks in to flow rates (in lpm) of
.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 15. This is
the first "digital" regulator I've had; previous
ones were "analog" in that a knob adjusted the
flow and a dial-and-needle showed the rate. (I
hope my tank setup is Y2K compliant!)

Brandon, certainly, having a regulator with more
options couldn't hurt. It depends on how well your
current O2 setup serves you. Do you think settings
above 7 lpm (at least to 10) would be beneficial to
you? If so, I urge you to look into it.

If your neuro is being a stuffed shirt about this
sort of thing, do as many on the board have suggested
at one time or another: dump 'em and find someone
who cares. I find my docs and neuro to be impatient
with me. It tells me they do *not* understand the
quality of the pain I suffer.

May you have clean-head soon!
