the evolution of this board has been amazing. It has become a MUCH more polite place as we have realized that we reach so many more people.
If you will notice, the FIRST time a non-clusterhead posts here, they are generally greeted and re-directed. Take Jonny's 'hmmmmm' posts....he doesn't bitch, he just points people back to the front door, where the signpost reads 'this site is dedicated exclusively to clusterheads'. Or Paco's post to the new people. It wasn't rude. It was informative. Yet HE was attacked for it. HE was attacked for being a tour guide.
Had this happened two years ago here, NCP (non-clusterhead peeps) would have been treated MUCH more agressively. Much more. I think that's because those of us who really DO have clusterheadaches in our lives hold onto the purity of this site with desperation because so many of us have never found a place before that understood what we go through. And to have people here who are NOT involved with clusterheaches in their lives just reminds us that so many people don't understand. They never will until we make people believe that clusterheades ARE unique. That is the first step along the road to finding a cure. Identification and classification.
