DHE is dihydroergotamine, it is administered thru an IV in the hospital, first an antinauseant then the DHE, and if it works for you the results are noticed almost immediately. Wonderful stuff when it works!!! I had no dopey feeling at all, the only sensation I felt was it felt really cold running into my arm then the pain was gone...Unfortunately it does not always work, different cures for different cluster cycles.
