Do not go over 10 to 20 mg. and have the Doc monitor it very close. This will hopefully have you not go thru bad withdrawals when you come off it. You will probably have some withdrawals even at this dose, though not too bad. Please take it from someone who truly knows about methadone...and I do. If you have ever had a drug problem , remember this can trigger some bad stuff. I am the last person to tell you not to use any pain meds cause I do when I have too and will stand up to any critisim of this that I may get. But use wisdom in doing so.
