Different feelings on one side of the face over the other

I've been tested by 2 doctors who have checked the feeling I get on each side of my face and both found (me too) that the side that I have the pain on is a different feeling than the other when touched with a cotton ball, sharp end of paper or sharp end of something. The pain side feels *dull* when touched and the other side feels lots *sharper* to me.

Anyone else have this?
