Hi, Just passing on another quick tip I have inadvertently learned / experienced. During a really vicious continum of clusters...I refused the hospitalization. My internist friend, gave me an IV and IV Compazine (anti-nausea medication). We have done this 2 times prior. It "broke" the CH enough to give me 12 WONDERFUL hours of sleep and decrease my pain to increase my coping power. It may not to appropriate for all. The Diamond Clinic and others use IV Thorazine at times for the same thing....the drugs are chemically related. Yes, there are other meds than narcotics (don't really work well) to break cycles of pain. I was put on oral Compazine also for 2 weeks now and am happy to say; though still chronic, I am more functional and the clusters have decreased markedly in frequency and intensity.
