in so many ways. we all need to be rescued from something at some point in time don't we.. be honest, we do.
from ourselves, from the world, the pain we feel, the pain we cause, fear of the unknown, razor blade wounds caused by the words/actions of those we love or that love us.
a hug can say wordlessly all that one needs and given in love can indeed mend much within'.
i recieved a curing hug myself that has done more for me than the strongest drug. sometimes modern medicine isn't the best medicine.
