I have always had to describe my Cluster Headaches by beginning with "It's sort of a migraine", but yesterday was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.
I was in the middle of an attack and since I had no Imitrex (you guys know my insurance company story), my hubby drove me to the ER. As I lying in one of the beds in the fetal position, the nurse asks me if I get nauseated with my "migraines". When I said "no", she replied "Oh, thank goodness, honey. You are one of the lucky ones."
I wanted to smack her, but since she was the bearer of the coveted Imitrex needle, I thought it would be best NOT to punch her lights out.
I feel SO lucky, how about you guys?
