The link is needed on the home page to attract new visitors. You had a nice link on my credits page. It went to your home page because that is the way these things are generally set up.But when I got there I saw you had not added a link back to us. It never would have occurred to me to go searching in chat for a link. That is a rather bizarre layout.
You know I would have added a link to my site wherever it was requested unless there was some major reason it would be inappropriate.
Did it never occur to you that maybe media needed this favor? Can't you give me credit for enough sense to know what needs to be done? My intelligence has been insulted so maybe we are even on the insult tally sheet.
Would it have been against your principles to rearrange a couple of lines of text as a favor to me? Would it have made your page look bad? If you have a valid reason for refusing to put the link there I would not complain. But it looks strange not to have this. Ask any Webmaster if you do not believe me.
And even if you feel this is not a slight I still see it that way. For no matter how many words any of us exchange the status quo will remain. There will be no link where needed.
The others will probably throw in their justifications. But in the end it is the final product that remains for all the world to see. And it is all wrong.
