First just wanted to say anytime my dr. has ever had to write a letter to get permission for me to get a medicine or something special done he knew how to word it without my help so you are probably worry about nothing. My guess is your dr has it under control. If not him his nurse.
The main things are to focus on is that needing the oxygen is perminent. So rent vs buying in one to two years the insurance company would be finanally ahead to buy. If they wont then it is there loss not yours. Stress that you need oxygen because it is a top line defense in aborting cluster headaches. Also if you have tried other abortives and those have failed put that in there it stresses the importance of needing the oxygen. Many insurance companies have oxygen off formulary and you can only have it if you have tried all the other abortive meds first and they don't work. But again, I really think that your dr. will proablly have a good idea what to write but these would be the key things to focus on.
