I may get yelled at but everyone please take a deep breath a listen befor yelling. When a peron comes here talking about migraines and cluster migraines we as a whole need to be calmer and listen more to their stories and needs before going off on the "M" word. I have run into plenty of drs in the ER that say "oh cluster migraines". It is my understanding from what I have encountered that many drs despite dr. Goadsbys' new breakthroughs due to there busy scheudules and lack of interest have not caught up with the latest and greatest news. Also, Not all want to be educated by you either. Anyway the school of old though is clusters and migraines are the same vascular headaches. They use the same medicines, same treatment plans etc. The only thing than that makes them different is that the headaches occur in clusters. Thus "Cluster Migraines". I have had drs explain it to me this way. So someone may come to the board just saying they have migraines when they may be clusters and far from migraines. It is the drs. who need to be educated in the importance in the difference of the two headaches.
