Hi. MRI tests, CAT Scans, blood tests galore, and
offers by the doctors of any # of prescriptions (none
of which I've taken yet) and after several neurologist
(one more useless than the other) it took this website
for me to learn the term "ice pick headache". It sounds
a lot like I've been experiencing, except sometimes
the lighting "out of the blue" quick, short lasting
sharp pain turns into a dull, vague, kind of shadow
of a pain which is annoying and scary, but not really
painful. I was wondering if you or anyone else had
these type of "after effects" and more importantly,
with icepick headaches, are they always on the same
place in the head or can they occur anywhere in the
head in different spots at different times for the
same person. Lastly, when I have these episodes
during the day, they seem mild, but by late at night
the dull aches seem to become suicidally excruciating.
Have you or anyone else experienced any of this?
