Hi Gary,
Pizotofen didn't touch my headaches when I was in my cluster, but seems to help with the shadows when my cluster is over (nothing since last November, touch wood!) I have to lie to my GP in London as well to get Pizotofen to deal with the shadows. In his infinite wisdom he has decided that I only need Pizotofen when I am in my cluster (and won't prescribe anything else even though it doesn't work). When I asked him what I'm supposed to do about the shadows he told me to take paracetamol, as it was just a headache. All the other GP's in my area are at capacity so I can't even change my doctor. I get migraine as well as CH and I'm sure my GP doen't know the difference. Perhaps if I tell him it's like the difference between a punch on the nose and a kick in the goolies (with appropriate demostration) he'll understand :-)
Good luck,
Colin.
