Glad to hear from you! I've had the same problems with having general physicians trying to tell me what I need for my headaches for over 13 years now. I've finally gotten to the point to where I tell them what I want and won't leave the office until they give it to me.
Personally, I've never heard of Claritin or Propanolol as treatment for Clusters, but I'm no physician. Sounds like you need to see about getting something that may actually work (or at least have a chance to work). I noticed that you mentioned lithium...generally, from what I've seen, lithium does the most good for the chronic sufferers and not for the episodic sufferers. Have you gotten to read the info on this site about the different medications yet? (If not, follow the link at the bottom of this post).
