I'm a chronic sufferer and have been on verapamil 240mg/2 times daily. I started at a lower dose 8 years ago and have slowly increased it. A couple years ago the Doc started me on amitriptyline as well as Verap. and now take 125 mg of that as well. The combination seems to help but it looks like I will have to contunially increase the dosages as years go by.
I use Imitrex inj. as an abortive.
